Good article for the content is excellent and well illustrated. I’m envious of the copy writing skills involved.
I seem to notice that this blog is created through wordpress. May I ask why the h1 tag isn’t employed?
In my opinion, that could result in a serious improvement of your search results.

These are not bad ideas/ tips. Some I have implemented in past blogs and page articles.

Formatted Title- Pretty Permalinks can be wonderful, but you can go by month/date/year and then /%postname%/ , but for regular static pages, you can have the pretty permalinks. It does not matter to the search engines. If you have a sitemap that Google will recognize, then you should have no troubles in Google indexing your site to its optimum potential. Depending on the person and article or ‘niche’ traffic they wish to bring in, the title should be made in accordance to that niche. Sometimes a little slang is great. It is l33t speak that is not a good choice.

External AND Internal: Reciprocal links to other sites, one-ways, and links within from post to related post are great ways to increase ranking.

Get Links: Quality linkage. Try to see if you can link with people that are 5 or 6 or more in blogging. Sometimes you can get this by being a guest blogger on a popular site too. Submit your articles and pages to Social Bookmarking sites too. Great reciprocal links and possible ways to increase your traffic and rank.

For some sites, depending on its niche, rank will either rise fast or slow. However, as a blogger, it is most essential to keep your site updated frequently to perk the search engines’ “ears”. Leave the site for a while and it will decrease. Example, I was not active much but blogging 2 times a month for 5 months. My rank went from 5 to 2. Now I am having to rebuild myself. I blog everyday now.
